About this experience
A sunset dhow outing is about watching the light change across Doha Bay.
Settle into the boat’s seating area, enjoy the waterfront perspective and keep your camera ready as the buildings take on evening colour. The departure must be timed to the season if sunset is your priority; a generic evening slot is not a guarantee of sunset while afloat.
Choose the cruise-only option for a short break between city activities, or request the dinner version if you want the meal to be part of the outing. Boarding point, dining arrangements and transfer coverage need to appear together in your confirmation.
For celebrations, ask about seating and dietary needs early. A shared dhow is a public excursion, so a private table or exclusive upper deck should only be expected when specifically arranged.

Before you go
Clothing and equipment
Bring a light layer for the open deck, arrive before boarding and confirm the actual sunset departure. Tell us about allergies and whether dinner must be served while sailing.
Physical requirements
Boat boarding involves steps and a moving deck. Ask about toilets, seating, shade and mobility assistance for the exact vessel.
Children and accessibility
Share each child’s age and any access requirements before confirmation. Age limits, available assistance and accessible facilities must be checked for this specific experience. A price category does not establish suitability.
Conditions and changes
Ask Journeyfer to confirm the route and operation for your date, including any seasonal limitations. Photographs and preferred times do not guarantee conditions or availability.
Cancellation and refunds
Request the terms for your selected provider, date and option. Attraction tickets and special packages can be non-refundable; outdoor operation can depend on weather. The applicable policy is not yet published as a verified product term.
